Les chinois WU-XU ont une fois de plus montré leurs ambitions Olympiques et leur progression en battant ce matin Emanuel-Ricardo 2-1 (13-21 23-21 15-13 en 1h).

L'équipe Chinoise a progressé notamment en défense et mentalement où ils ont prouvé qu'ils arrivent à tenir sur un match serré face à une grosse équipe, en l'occurrence les Champions Olympiques.

Côté brésilien, Ricardo a été un ton en-dessous, peut-être du fait d'une blessure à la cheville, alors qu'Emanuel a une fois de plus été super en défense.

Pour les autres matchs, à noter l'élimination des équipes américaines Stein Metzger-Mark Williams éliminés par les Georgiens Geor-Gia et Jake Gibb-Sean Rosenthal par Harley-Pedro.

Par contre les 2 autres équipes américaines se sont qualifiées pour les quarts de finale, difficilement pour Casey Jennings-Matt Fuerbringer contre les lettons Samoilovs-Pavlins qui ont fait encore un excellent match et qualification très facile pour Todd Rogers-Phil Dalhausser contre les allemands Reckermann-Urbatzka.

The Chinese team progressed in particular in defense and mentally where they proved that they manage to hold on a match tightened against a top team, here the Olympic champions.

Brazilian side, Ricardo was a tone below, perhaps it's because an injury at his ankle, then Emanuel once more was great in defense.

For the other matches, to note the elimination of the American teams Stein Metzger-Mark Willams eliminated by Georgiens Geor-Gia and Jake Gibb-Sean Rosenthal by Harley-Pedro.

The 2 other American teams qualified themselves for the quarterfinals, with difficulty for Casey Jennings-Matt Fuerbringer against the Samoilovs-Pavlins Latvians who still made an excellent match and very easy qualification for Todd Rogers-Phil Dalhausser against German Reckermann-Urbatzka.
