Alison "Terminator" est l'un des joueurs révélation de cette saison 2008 avec maintenant à son actif la 3ème place lors du Grand Slam de Gstaad avec un certain... Emanuel et l'Or avec Cunha. Les grandes stars du Beach Volleyball Brésilien semblent avoir bien compris le potentiel de ce jeune joueur d'avenir (22 ans et 2m02).

Pour les frères Ces cette performance est à mettre au compte du travail effectué ces derniers mois pour que la paire devienne une. A noter une très forte évolution dans le jeu d'Andy Ces qui n'en finit pas de progresser au prix de beaucoup de travail.

Sans dévaloriser le tournoi qui a démarré hier à bahrain, il faut tout de même souligner la non-présence de 14 des 15 premières équipes mondiales.
Voilà donc que la seule équipe du Top 15 mondial est la paire Nummerdor-Schuil détentrice du titre l'année dernière et que les frères Ces deviennent tête de série N°2.
Et si la véritable star du tournoi était finalement les allemands Dollinger-Windscheif sortis des qualifications grâce au tirage au sort de repêchage... Les Lucky Loosers n'ont en effet pas laissé passer leur chance en gagnant tous leurs matchs dans le Main Draw passant du statut de Lucky Loosers à celui d'outsiders bien placé.

Très bon parcours aussi pour la nouvelle association brésilienne Allison-Cunha (ils jouent ensemble seulement depuis 3 mois) qui se retrouve aussi invaincue.

Pour Kevin et Andy Ces, arrêtés par les brésiliens, il va falloir sortir un très bon match contre les vainqueurs du match Biza-Rotrekl (CZE) vs Kadziola-Szalankiedwicz pour être dans le carré final sinon ce sera la 5eme place.
