La Chine a réussi à placer 2 équipes sur le podium cet après-midi. La meilleure équipe a finalement été la jeune équipe Xue Chen-Zhang XI qui a écrasé les américaines Elaine Youngs-Nicole Branagh 2-0 (21-8 21-18).

Les jeunes chinoises ont confirmé leur match de demi finales où elles ont battu leurs aînées et N°1 chinoises avec un excellent match de Xue Chen qui a multiplié les plongeons efficaces et Zhang Xi qui a été élue meilleure joueuse du tournoi grâce à ses blocks.

Le Bronze a été remporté par Tian Jia-Wang qui empêche une équipe brésilienne de remporter une médaille comme à l'accoutumé.

Attention joueurs du monde car les chinoises montent en puissance en se rapprochant des Jeux Olympiques...Pour les demi finales hommes ce sont finalement Todd Rogers-Phil Dalhausser qui rencontreront les allemands Christoph Dieckmann-Julius Brink et les chinois Wu-Xu qui joueuront contre les allemands Klemperer-Koreng.

 China succeeded in placing 2 teams on the podium this afternoon. The best team was finally the young team Xue Chen-Zhang XI which crushed American Elaine Youngs-Nicole Branagh 2-0 (21-8 21-18).

The Chinese young team confirmed their semi finals where they beat their elder and N°1 Chinese with an excellent match of Xue Chen which multiplied the effective dives and Zhang Xi which was elected MVP of the tournament thanks to her blocks.

Bronze was won by Tian Jia-Wang which prevents a Brazilian team from winning a medal as usual.

Warning : Players of the world because the Chinese go up in power while approaching the Olympic Games…

For the men semi finals they are finally Todd Rogers-Phil Dalhausser which will play against German Christoph Dieckmann-Julius Brink and the Wu-Xu Chinese who will play against German Klemperer-Koreng.

La Finale tant attendue, entre les 2 meilleures paires actuelles, n'a pas donné le spectacle que tous espéraient. Kerri WALSH-Misty MAY TREANOR ont dominé les brésiliennes (21-16 21-14) qui semblaient tétanisées devant leur public. JULIANA-LARISSA n'ont pas pu contrarier le jeu des Championnes du Monde et les empêcher de remporter leur 2ème victoire à Fortaleza.

Et pour montrer que le Beach Volley américain se porte bien, Elaine YOUNGS-Nicole BRANAGH ont dominé elles aussi la paire brésilienne SHELDA-BEHAR en leur infligeant le même 2-0 (21-16 21-14).

Carton plein pour les américaines et les brésiliennes qui se partagent 7 des 8 premières places ne laissant qu'une petite place à l'équipe européenne montante LUDWIG-GOLLER.

JULIANA-LARISSA was not able to oppose the game of the World champions and to prevent them from winning their 2nd victory to Fortaleza.

And to show that the American Beach volleyball goes well, Elaine YOUNGS-Nicole BRANAGH dominated too the Brazilian pair SHELDA-BEHAR by imposing them the same 2-0 ( 21-16 21-14 ).Full victory for the Americans and the Brazilians which are divided 7 of the first 8 places leaving only a small place to the rising European team LUDWIG-GOLLER.
