Les Champions olympiques Hommes et Femmes à athènes en 2004 ont remis les pendules à l'heure à Berlin, Emanuel-Ricardo et Kerri Walsh-Misty may semblent monter en puissance  à 53 jours des Jeux Olympiques de Beijing...

Dans le tournoi femmes, les N°1 américaines ont cependant dû tenir le choc sur plus de 3 matchs où il a fallu s'y prendre à 3 sets pour gagner. Il semblerait que cela était dû au calage par rapport au circuit mondial car Kerri et Misty n'avaient joué jusqu'à présent que sur l'AVP Crocs Tour et ont dû se réadapter aux équipes européennes, brésiliennes et chinoises.

Nul doute que sur les prochains Grand Slam - à commencer par Paris à partir de demain - l'équipe sera dans le bain. Il faut aussi souligner que les toutes les équipes sont montées d'un cran dans le haut niveau du Beach Volleyball mondial.

Pour la 3ème place, Larissa-Juliana ont pris leur revanche sur les USA en battant facilement Jennifer Boss et April Ross 2-0 (21-11 21-19).

Les équipes européennes Hommes continuent à montrer leurs ambitions puisqu'une fois de plus on en retrouve 2 en demi finales avec toujours les N°1 européens Julius Brink-Christoph Dieckmann qui en sont à leur 4ème demi finale et avec les N°1 espagnols Pablo Herrera-Raul Mesa.

Face à eux rien que les Champions Olympiques Emanuel-Ricardo et les Champions du Monde Todd Rogers et Phil Dalhausser.

Il se trouve que la logique a été respectée puisque ce sont les brésiliens et les américains qui se sont retrouvés en Finale même si c'est 2 équipes ont été bousculées et ont dû batailler jusqu'à la dernière balle du 3ème set.

En finale même match difficile où block et défense ont été les points clés du match et ont permis aux spectateurs de se régaler tant les 4 joueurs ont excellé dans ses domaines.

Mais voilà Emanuel-Ricardo ont fini par gagner après 1h13 de match et un 2-1 très serré (25-27 21-19 15-13).

Ce sont les espagnols Pablo Herrera-Raul Mesa qui ont gagné leur place sur le podium de Berlin après avoir battu une équipe qu'ils connaissent bien, puisqu'ils s'entraînent souvent avec eux, Christoph Dieckmann-Julius brink, 2-0 (21-19 21-16).

There is no doubt that on next Grand Slam - to start with Paris as from tomorrow - the team will be ready.

It also should be stressed that the all teams are assembled a notch in the high level of Beach world Volley ball.

For the 3rd place, Larissa-Juliana took their revenge on the USA by beating easily Jennifer Boss and April Ross 2-0 (21-11 21-19).

The European men teams continue to show their ambitions once more one finds of them 2 in semi finales with always N°1 Europeans Julius Brink-Christoph Dieckmann which are with their 4th semi finale and with N°1 Spanish Pablo Herrera-Raul Mesa.

Against them only the Emanuel-Ricardo Olympic champions and the World champions Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser. the logic was respected since they are the Brazilian ones and American who found itself finally even if this 2 teams were hustled and had to battle until the last ball of the 3rd set.
