C'est parti pour la saison 2008 de Beach Volleyball à l'Île Maurice - The Mauritus Beach Volleyball 2008 season start

L'île de rêve aussi a son circuit de Beach Volleyball. En effet l'Association Mauricienne de Volley Ball avec l'aide de la fédération Sud Africaine a créé un circuit de 3 mois à la fin duquel les champions représenteront Maurice à la coupe des clubs champions de l'Océan Indien qui se déroulera à St leu à la Réunion.
Gilbert Alfred/Gino Sophie et Rojelle Chameau/Véronique Douce, favoris de la saison, ont marqué leur territoire dès le premier tournoi.
Le coup d’envoi de cette saison de Beach Volleyball à Maurice a été officiellement donné, hier, sur la plage de Flic-en-Flac avec la Coupe de l’Indépendance avec la présence de 25 paires chez les hommes et 20 chez les filles.
Au final, Gilbert Alfred et Gino Sophie ont disposé de Lindsay Wilson et de David Alexandre en deux sets. La finale féminine a été plus disputée entre Véronique Douce/Rojelle Chameau et Marjorie Nadal/Prisca Seerunghen. Les championnes de Maurice en titre ont dû avoir recours au tie-break pour ouvrir leur compteur 2008.

The island of dream also have a Beach Volleyball Tour. Indeed Association Mauritian of Volley Ball, with the assistance of the South Africa federation, created a 3 month Tour at the end of which the champions will represent Maurice at the champions clubs Cup of the Indian Ocean which will be held at St leu in the Reunion.

The starting of this season of Beach Volleyball in Maurice was officially given, yesterday, on the beach of Flic-en-Flac with the Independence Cup with the presence of 25 men teams and 20 in the girls. In the final, Gilbert Alfred and Gino Sophie beat Lindsay Wilson and David Alexandre in two sets. The female final was disputed between Veronique Douce/Rojelle Chameau and Marjorie Nadal/Prisca Seerunghen. The champions in title of Maurice must have to play until the tie break to win.
