Encore une journée de beau spectacle à Miami Beach avec des matchs plus disputés mais aussi avec les N°1 US, Kerri Walsh-Misty May Treanor et Todd Rogers-Phil Dalhausser, qui ont confirmés leur statut.

La plus grande surprise est venue du tournoi Hommes avec le match parfait de Sean Scott-Nick Lucena (association nouvelle - puisque Sean jouait l'année dernière avec Matt Fuerbringer) contre Jake Gibb-Sean Rosenthal (têtes de série N°3) au 3ème tour. Après 1h09 de défenses, services et blocks incroyables Nick Lucena, originaire de Floride, et Sean Scott gagnent par 2-1 (23-21 17-21 15-12).

Nick et Sean continueront sur leur lancée puisqu'il sortiront au 4ème tour la tête de série N°2 John Hyden (God of the Beach 2007) et Brad Keenan (Most Improved Player en 2007) en les battant 2-0 (21-14 21-17). Les voilà donc en demi finales où ils joueront contre le vainqueur du match Medel-Souza vs Gibb-Rosenthal.

L'autre demi finale opposera Todd Rogers-Phil Dalhausser, qui ont eu un match difficile à négocier face à Medel-Souza (gagné 2-1 en 1h11 19-21 21-15 15-11), aux vainqueurs de Fuerbringer-Jennings vs Keenan-Hyden.

A noter la bonne 9ème place d'Ed Rattledge - le joueur qui a rendu visite en février au Montpellier Beach volley et qui est toujours en contact avec Beach volley Forever.

Côté Tournoi Femmes pas de changement puisque les têtes de série 1 et 2, Walsh-May et Young-Branagh, joueront les demi finales et que les têtes de séries 3 à 6 sont encore en course pour les rejoindre.

A noter une nouvelle association interessante et performante entre Holly McPeak et Angie Akers.

The greatest surprise came from the Hommes tournament with the perfect match of Sean Scott-Nick Lucena (new association - since Sean played last year with Matt Fuerbringer) against Jake Gibb-Sean Rosenthal (Top seeded N°3) at the 3rd round. Nick and Sean will continue on their impetus since it will leave to the 4th round the seeded N°2 John Hyden (God of the Beach 2007) and Brad Keenan (Most Improved Player in 2007) by beating them 2-0 (21-14 21-17). Here they are thus in semifinals where they will play against the winner of the match Medel-Souza vs Gibb-Rosenthal.

The other semifinal will oppose Todd Rogers-Phil Dalhausser, which had not easily won against Medel-Souza (gained 2-1 in 1h11 19-21 21-15 15-11), with the winners of Fuerbringer-Jennings vs Keenan-Hyden.

Good 9th place of ED Rattledge - the player which returned visit in February to Montpellier Beach volleyball and which is always in contact with Beach Forever volleyball.

In the Women tournament no change since the top seeded 1 and 2, Walsh-May and Young-Branagh, will play the semifinals and that the seeded 3 to 6 are still in race to join them.

To note a new association interessante and powerful between Holly McPeak and Angie Akers.
