C'est confirmé, Misty May-Kerri Walsh et Todd Rogers-Phil Dalhausser sont bien les N°1 incontestés sur le Circuit AVP.

2ème étape et 2ème victoire pour les Champions du Monde qui laissent toutes les autres équipes se partager les restes...

Cette fois-ci, à Dallas, les 2 équipes ont du quand même sortir le grand jeu en Finale car Elaine Youngs-Nicole Branagh et Jake Gibb-Sean Rosenthal avaient décidé de ne pas subir le jeu des N°1.

Ainsi sur la Finale Femmes, Elaine et Nicole, plus motivées que jamais, ont fait un excellent match en défense et au service ne s'inclinant face à Misty et Kerri que par 2-1 (17-21 21-14 15-13) avec un dernier set décisif où Elaine Youngs a montré son efficacité à l'attaque.

Côté Hommes, Phil a du accentuer son jeu au Block et Todd a été impérial en défense comme Sean Rosenthal d'ailleurs... Evidemment c'est normal puisque l'on a eu dans cette finale un face à face entre les 2 meilleurs défenseurs américains.

C'est donc Phil et Todd qui gagnent 2-1 (16-21 21-16 15-12).

This time, in Dallas, the 2 teams have to play harder because Elaine Youngs-Nicole Branagh and Jake Gibb-Sean Rosenthal had decided not to undergo the play of N°1.

Thus on the Final Women, Elaine and Nicole, more motivated than ever, made an excellent match in defense and with the service being inclined against Misty and Kerri only by 2-1 (17-21 21-14 15-13) with a last decisive set where Elaine Youngs showed its effectiveness with the spike.

In the Men side, Phil has to accentuate its play with the Block and Todd was imperial in defense like Sean Rosenthal besides...

Obviously it is normal since one had in this finale face to face between the 2 best American defenders. Phil and Todd won finally 2-1 (16-21 21-16 15-12).
