Oui elles semblent survolées les tournois sur tous les continents et avec le sourire car Kerri et Misty ce sont d'abord des joueuses disponibles et souriantes. 1 semaine après leur titre de Championne du Monde à GSTAAD, voilà qu'elles récidivent en gagnant 1 autre grand chelem en battant en Finale - 2 sets 0 (21-16 23-21) - LARISSA-JULIANA qui, malgré un 2ème set très accroché, n'ont pu empêché la domination américaine.
Pour la 3ème Place on retrouve une équipe qui confirme sa grande forme en 2007 : Sara GOLLER et Laura LUDWIG (actuellement 9ème au classement mondial au 30 juillet 2007). Les allemandes ont déjà terminé entre autres 2ème à Espinho, 4ème à Stavanger et 5ème à Marseille et il ne leur manque plus dans leur collection de médailles, l'Or.
Côté équipes de France c'est encore la paire Morgane FAURE-Virginie SARPAUX qui réalise le meilleur classement : 17ème.
Dans le tournoi Hommes la grande déception vient du côté de la paire US Todd ROGERS-Phil DALHAUSSER qui a mal débuté le tournoi en perdant contre la paire italienne AMORE-BIZZOTTO (tête de série 31) qui dixit Todd "a très bien joué alors que nous avons fait beaucoup trop d'erreurs directes...". Todd et Phil ne se classe finalement que 17ème après avoir été sortis par les demi finalistes SCHUIL-NUMMERDOR. Et aussi de la paire Christoph DIECKMANN-Julius BRINK (9ème au classement final) qui rate leur match contre ces mêmes SCHUIL-NUMMERDOR en encaissant un sévère 21-08 au 1er set.

A suivre aujourd'hui des demi finales explosives avec un duel Bresil-Bresil, FABIO-MARCIO vs EMANUEL-RICARDO et un duel européen avec Pays Bas-Allemagne, SCHUIL-NUMMERDOR vs KLEMPERER-GORENG (eux aussi en pleine forme).
