Nestea European Beach Volleyball Championship - Suprématie de la Grèce - HELLAS supremacy

La meilleure équipe européenne dans le classement mondial est devenue Championne d'Europe après une finale disputée où le plus important a été d'apprivoiser les conditions climatiques.

A ce jeu Vasso KARADASSIOU et Vicky ARVANITY ont été les plus fortes grâce à une concentration et une maîtrise technique sans faille. Mais le team Grec c'est aussi le coach Manolis ROUMELIOTIS, très exigeant avec Vasso et Vicky, qui a su donner la bonne stratégie et conseils.

Coup de châpeau à l'équipe allemande GOLLER-LUDWIG qui parties d'une Wild Card sont arrivées en Finale en livrant un match surprenant ne perdant que par 2-1 mais avec un manque de régularité par rapport à la team grecque.

A noter la médaille de Bronze de l'équipe qui revient en forme : Nila HAKEDAL-Ingid TORLEN.

Bravo à Vasso, Vicky et Manolis pour ce titre qu'il rapporte à la Grèce et qui confirme qu'il faudra compter sur eux pour cette fin de saison de beach (encore 2 tournois pour les filles : Fortaleza au Brésil et Phuket en Thailande) et pour 2008 (année olympique).
