Julius BRINK-Christoph DIECKMANN et Nathalie COOK-Tasmin BARNETT Champions d'Australie

Julius et Christoph ont dominé la dernière étape du circuit Australien de Beach Volley à Scarborouh. Ils battent la paire danoise par 2 sets 0 (21-19 / 21-18) et s'adjugent le Championnat d'Australie 2007. La paire allemande, venue essentiellement pour se préparer, semble être en pleine forme tellement ils ont dominé les étapes australiennes auxquelles ils ont participé. A noter que les meilleures équipes australiennes, battues en 1/2 Finale, ont été J. Prosser (NSW)/B. Richardson (WA) et M. Suan (WA)/P. Bourne (SA).

Chez les femmes la bataille a été passionante car là plusieurs équipes étaient susceptibles de pouvoir remporter le titre. En effet N. Cook (QLD)/T. Barnett (VIC),

N. Sanderson (QLD)/S. Lochowicz (QLD), H. Jurich (GER)/R. Brink-Abeler (GER), M.Lessard (CAN)/S.Maxwell (CAN) et K. Pottharst (NSW)/S. Straton (QLD) se sont livrées entièrement avec une Keri POTTHRAST en pleine forme. Finalement c'est Nat COOK et Tasmin BARNETT qui l'ont emporté dans une finale en demi teinte où elles ont facilement battu Nicole et Summer 2 sets 0 (21-15 / 21-10).

Les canadiennes Marie Andréée LESSARD et Sarah MAXWELL n'ont pas réussi à rééditer leur place en Finale 2006.

Julius and Christoph dominated the last stage of the Australian circuit of Beach volleyball to Scarborouh. They beat the Danish pair by 2 sets 0 (21-19 / 21-18) and appropriate the Championship of Australia 2007. The German pair, come essentially to get ready, seems to be so on form they dominated the Australian stages in which they participated. Note that the best Australian teams, beaten in 1/2 Finale, were J. Prosser ( NSW) / B. Richardson ( WA) and M. Suan ( WA) / P. Bourne.

At the women the battle was interesting because there several teams might be able to take away the title. Indeed N. CooK ( QLD) / T. Barnett (VIC), N. Sanderson ( QLD)/. Lochowicz ( QLD), H. Jurich ( GER) / R. Brink-Abeler ( GER), M.Lessard ( CAN) / S.Maxwell ( CAN) and K. Pottharst ( NSW)/ S. Straton ( QLD) was completely engaged with a Keri POTTHRAST on top form. Finally it is Nat COOK and Tasmin BARNETT who took it in one final in half tint where they easily beat Nicole and Summer 2 sets 0 (21-15 / 21-10).

The Canadian Marie Andréée LESSARD and Sarah MAXWELL did not manage to reedit their place in Finale 2006.
